Last time I tried to post this note I was deprived of posting for linking other websites' linkage...So, this time I cleared all the links and hope it will be ok :)

When everyone is using XXX, I'm still trying to stick to YYY (which, was no more than ruin now) since, well, since I'm used to it and its history is certainly long enough for me to not able to dismiss it easily.
But of course I have another reason. Quite pathetic actually -- Because I know if I couldn't find what I want here, I don't think I can find it elsewhere. My favourite characters, plots, CPs... They are just so personal that can't be understood or shared. And honestly, I don't want to take part in any group now any more than a year ago. I'll always love those characters, plots, CPs. But that's it. I, being myself, is quite enough. No need to ask more, and absolutely no need to want more.
I'm working on a HP fanfiction, which centered Regulus and Crouch Jr.'s love story and a terrible amount of actions as well as dozens of other characters. And I'm almost desperate to find out that I feel better when I use English instead of Chinese to plan it -- Thankfully I still manage to write it in Chinese, though being extremely weird like I was writing a martial-art-fanfiction . Blame all the fanfictions I read on ZZZ and all the fanfitions I wrote centering someone!
But even though I've been reading fanfictions for months and even years, what frustrates me the most is that I still don't know how to find a good story fast and accurately. I mean, domestic or international, people are always the same.
It seems that there're less wrong-boy-who-lived stories during the past years, but there're still countless stories in which Ron and Ginny and Molly were evil, Dembledore was manipulative, Snape was kind and Draco was noble... And with those -- oh, not only the Slytherins, but all the people as long as they are not Ron or Hermione -- people hanging around with Harry, I don't think I know who Harry is any more. And let's not forget the so-called "independent" Harry, who, as far as I'm concerned, is no more than a self-centered and self-rightious little git!
I nearly cried.
And is it really so difficult that authors can never write a story compliant with canon?
Is it too much for me to want a good-written story where the author just make the good guys good, and the bad guys bad?
I love Sirius. I really do. But I also don't think he's the type using all the political methods (and abandon his Gryffindor traits completely) to fight Dumbledore (who is, of course, a manipulative evil bastard). Frankly, I think the idea that Dumbledore is evil and needs to bash is quite ridiculous, but maybe there're just so many authors and so many readers think it make sense that I can no longer rely on quantity of reviews / favourites / follows to judge a story.
All I can do is to read summaries by update date and use my luck to get a decent enough story. I'm really not that hard to please, I swear!
So here I am, trying to write fanfiction which had be planned years and years ago.
Anyway, just record some of the good stories I read this time. Some of them were recorded before, but I just want to record again.
Backward With Purpose Part I: Always and Always & Backward With Purpose Part II: The Book of Albus
Author: Deadwoodpecker
I found great pleasure in reading this story when the relationship of Sirius and Snape is concerned...
No Ron bashing, no Albus bashing, no Sirius bashing, no Snape bashing...
Oh my god, I love it! Just... I'm not really a HG person, so yeah...
The Track of a Storm
Author: Lady Taliesin
Already declared many times.
Love it.
Oh I love you so much, James Potter and Sirius Black [gen]!
Destiny Redefined
Author: thejealousone
I'm seriously thinking about read more HG stories if most of them were well-writen like this.
Since it almost kills me to draw the strict timeline and plan every detail carefully, I am just so in awe when reading a time travel story which possess a perfect and flawless logic.
Far Too Many Time Travelers
Author: Lord Jeram
I hope it will update soon, which seems unlikely.
I like it when people are so desperate the did something almost insane and still keep going and be able to smile or laugh or live.
Well, I'm that terrible.
Gryffindors Never Die
Author: ChipmonkOnSpeed
Not as amazing as I read it last time. But still, I like it.
And I'm hoping author would update her other story soon.
Harry Potter Without Harry Potter(A couple of stubborn kids)
Author: Nim-the-Lesser
Pity I never found it earlier.
Shame it's not finished yet.
Wonder will Harry Potter ever take a part in the story.
I'm certain there must have been other good stories like this in ffn, but I simply can not find them!
It frustrates me to no end.
The Blacks Are Back!
Author: VelvetyNightSky
I know I'm enjoying the story and pretend I never notice that the author is probably going to bash Dumbledore at the same time.
So truthfully, I don't know whether I to see the story being updated.
The Stains of Time
Author: Colin The Master of Whisperers
Another good story like Harry Potter without Harry Potter.
I'll read this one slowly.
A Study in Magic
Author: Books of Change
No idea why it's so famous. I read through Harry's first 3 years at Hogwarts in the hope that Sirius would be cleared sooner. No such luck. And obviously the author loved characters in Shelock (and some OCs, if I'm not wrong) much better than those in Harry Potter. So no need to torture myself.
Amends, or Truth and Reconciliation
Author: Vera Rozalsky
Havn't read it yet. Sitll, I've got a feeling it would be a story worth reading.
Maybe I just like story focus on people around Harry Potter where Harry doesn't exist?
Damn, I love Harry!
All These Complications
Author: Annie789
My favorite story ever.
Always was, always is, and always will be.
And let me forget that it hasn't be updated for 1 year.
Sigh.
As far as I am concerned, no Regulus Black was more loveable in any story than this one.
Not Dead Man Walking, and not Harry Potter and the Deus Ex Machina.
It's unfair, but truth to be told, I just couldn't finish reading those 2 stories since... well, maybe just since my love for Regulus is not as strong as I first imagined.
Or maybe I just prefer stories that are "Griffindoric" than that are "Slytherinish".
---
It's over a year since I wrote these words and I haven't give up my work yet.
What a miracle.
It's because I really like the HP world and those people.
Year, those people. What they think, what they like, what they hate, what they do, what they may become, what they may achieve...
Never interested in something funny like 3 Opinion or social relationships between muggles and wizards, or else.
What I care remains --
Canon. Of coursethe canon. Always the canon.
Hope there's nothing wrong in the journal this time, sigh.
