Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m writing to express our sincere thanks for your help that you have offered to us during our stay in your country for the Sino-American cultural exchange. Without your guidance, our program would not have been finished so successfully and we would not have got so much knowledge about American culture. We’re deeply impressed by your hospitality, kindness and patience
Now we have got back to our country and we all look forward to hosting you in our country. We want to do something in return for all your help and support. Many thanks for your wonderful help.
Best wishes!
Sincerely yours,
Li Ming

In this chart, we can see the mobile phone subscriptions in developed countries have a steady and slight increase from 2000 to 2008 and remain constant in 2008. Meanwhile the mobile phone subscriptions in developing countries have witnessed a great surge from 2000 to 2008 with the biggest rise in the last three years. I think there are at least two reasons for the rapid increase of mobile phone subscription.
Firstly, as the cost of telecommunications is reduced in recent years, more and more people in the developing countries can afford this service. As we know, the developing countries usually have a large population. It’s no doubt that there is a large demand for the cheaper mobile service. Secondly, most people in developing countries come to see the important role that modern communication plays in their life. Therefore, an increasing number of customers subscribe to benefit from this service.
As discussed above, it is not surprising to see this change. I think this trend will continue for a while in the future.
