I had been read <The Old Man and the Sea> ,<divine tune>,<harry potter>and<twilight> for two years when the finally exams came. I think that you should study hard rather than read english books. Good luck!
According to your situation ,my suggestion is to read the English magazine called ENGLISH CORNER that are suitable for those who has primary or secondary English level .
My advice is to see movie or English magazine .Novel is too hard to read for you ,you can hardly understand the real meaning ,because your level is not reach .If you have a real hunger for reading ,you can choose short novel to try . Good luck !
