据说这个事情发生在泰国的一家动物园，作为吸引游客的手段，不过后来已经被勒令停止了。

1.If one thing or person replaces another, the first is used or acts instead of the

当说A replaces B， 指A代替了B。
如：The council tax replaces the poll tax next April.
2. If you replace one thing or person with another, you put something or someone else in their place to do their job.
当你说replace A with B的时候，表示用A代替B来做B原来的工作。
如：I clean out all the grease and replace it with oil so it works better in very low
temperatures...
3.If you replace something that is broken, damaged, or lost, you get a new one to use instead.
如果你replace了一个已经坏了或者不见了的东西，表示你装上了一个新的（同样，或者同类的东西）。

reason这个词也常常被用作动词，这就是一个常见的用法。
reason
n.
1.The reason for something is a fact or situation which explains why it happens
or what causes it to happen.
reason for A 表示事情A发生的原因。（for后面的是要解释的事情）
There is a reason for every important thing that happens...
2.If you say that you have reason to believe something or to have a particular
emotion, you mean that you have evidence for your belief or there is a definite
cause of your feeling.
reason to believe或者reason to某种情绪（如angry）表示相信或者产生这种情绪都是有确切原因的。（中文可以翻译为，我有理由相信/生气……）
They had reason to believe there could be trouble...
3.The ability that people have to think and to make sensible judgments can be
referred to as reason.
人们思考来让事物之间的逻辑关系成立的能力叫做reason（相当于推理，理性思考）

bluff可以指试图让别人相信你会做一件你其实并不准备做的事

第一句不知道你原本想表达什么。
第二句的replace要么需要用第三人称单数，或者过去式。因为没有上下文his后面的名词应该还是要写出来，不然没法理解。另外，original是形容词，语法和句意的角度讲，后面应该有一个名词。 -

第一句我有小疑问，前面是he,后面replaced by又是her，这里不应该是在说同一个人么？
第二句我觉得用You can't use the old one because it doesn't work well and has to be replaced with a new one.会更好。work well to replace 不是特别通。
found后面应该用主格she，这里其实find后面是一个从句，所以不需要用宾格。still后面的be其实和was重复了，用at就好
